Jimmy Wayne Waddell,

Wayne Waddell, Jr., age 56, of Calhoun. Died Friday morning March 25th in Gordon Hospital following a sudden attack. Wayne was born February 17, 1955 in Gordon County. Son of Jimmy Waddell, Sr. and the late Cleo Goodnight Waddell. He was formerly employed by Warren Tire Company and was a member of the Fellowship Baptist Church at Oostanaula. Survivors include his wife Brenda Waddall. Two sons; Tracy Waddell and Dewayne Waddell. One daughter, Christie Dodd and her Wesley. His father, Jimmy W. Waddell, Sr. and his wife Mary Jo all of Calhoun. Three sisters; Faye Cook and her husband Bobby of Cave Springs, Gail Brogdon and her husband Mike of Calhoun and Hope Ray and her husband Chris of Calhoun. Two grandchildren; Heath and Savanna Hufstetler. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be conducted Monday March 28th at 2pm from the chapel of Thomas Funeral Home. With Rev. Gary Quarrels officiating. Burial will follow in the Fellowship Baptist Cemetery. Pallbearers serving include; Chris Warren, Bobby Hyde, Jamie Minor, Mike Ullman, Kenny Warren, and Glen Warren. Honorary escorts include; Paul Carroll, Lonnie Carroll, Frank Prone, James Hughes, Will Hughes, Johnny Hughes, and Ron Prone. The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 2 until 6pm.
