Jimmy L. Lambert

Wednesday, November 12, 2008 Mr. Jimmy Lambert, age 76 of Calhoun died Tuesday evening in the Wildwood Health Center of Ludville following an extended illness. Jimmy was born in Gilmer County, November 23, 1931, son of the late Albert Lambert and Dessie Trammell Lambert. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Wylene Neal Lambert, a son, Lamar Lambert, and a brother, Junior Lambert. Jimmy was a member of the Mount Pisgah Baptist Church of Ramhurst. Jimmy is survived by two sons, Billy Lambert and his wife, Terri of Sugar Valley; Scott Lambert and his wife Amber of the Red Bud community; one daughter, Cindy Lambert of Calhoun; one brother, Butch Lambert and his wife Janie of Fairmount; three sisters, Shirley Burton and Dorothy Fuller of Fairmount and Nora Duvall of Calhoun; six grandchildren; and two great grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM, Friday, November 14 at the Chapel of Thomas Funeral Home with Dr. John Allen officiating. Burial will be in Chandler Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 8:00 PM Thursday at the funeral home. Pallbearers are George Green, Harry White, Mac Turner, Donnie Hollingsworth, Billy Neal, and Bud Parson.
