Jimmy F. Daughtrey

Jimmy F. Daughtrey, 78 of Sugar Valley, Georgia died peacefully at his home of Monday June 6th. He worked in the carpet industry for over 30 years in sales and management. He is remembered as a wonderful, loving family man. He is survived by his wife of 57 years Betty Daughtrey. Son, David Daughtrey of Sugar Valley. Daughters, Mary Dore of Houston, TX and Beverly Mooney of Medina, OH. His sister, Norma Dykes of Albany, GA. Ten grandchildren and one great grandchild. Memorial service for Mr. Daughtrey will be conducted Sunday June 12th at 2pm from the Northside Church of Christ. With Minister Kent Bailey officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday evening from 5 until 7pm. The family request that in lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Northside Church of Christ @700 Jolly Road, Calhoun, Georgia,30701. Thomas Funeral is in charge of the arrangements.
