Jerry Simpson Striblin

Jerry Simpson Striblin, age 70 of Calhoun. Died Friday evening July 8th in Redmond Regional Hospital. Jerry was born in Randolph County, Georgia on March 15, 1941. Son of the late Levi and Allie Alsobrook Striblin. He was a member of the Corner Stone Baptist Church and was employed by Carriage Dye House prior to his retirement. He is survived by his wife Joyce Striblin. Two daughters, Connie Lynn SanJuan, and Carolyn Cochran all of Calhoun. One brother, Travis Striblin of South Carolina. Seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren also survive. Funeral services will be conducted Monday July 11th at 2pm from the chapel of Thomas Funeral Home. With Rev. Ray Davis officiating. Burial will follow in Gordon Memorial Gardens with grandsons and nephews serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 5 until 8pm at the funeral home.
