Jerry L. McEntyre

Jerry L. McEntyre, age 74, of Calhoun, passed away Friday evening December 28th in Gordon Hospital. Jerry was born November 22, 1938 in Gordon County son of the late Loraine and Beulah Cobb McEntyre. He was a member of the Erwin Hill Church of God, a veteran of the United State Army and was employed by the City of Calhoun prior to his retirement. Jerry was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn Norris McEntyre, son, Brian McEntyre and a daughter, Brook Frady. Survivors include one daughter, Stephanie Bailey of Calhoun, one brother, Jack McEntyre of Calhoun, two sisters, Janie Grogan of Calhoun and Judy Smith of Alpharetta. Four Grandchildren and including one special grandson, Lane Bailey. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday December 30th at 3pm from the chapel of Thomas Funeral Home with Rev. Kenny Rogers officiating. Burial will follow in Fain Cemetery with Louie McEntyre, Page McEntyre, Tracy McEntyre, Mike McEntyre, Elbert Jackson, and Terry Hopper serving as Pallbearers.
