Jerrie Kinsey Fite

Jerrie Kinsey Fite, age 74 of Calhoun died Wednesday, May 1 at the residence of her sister Martha near Adairsville. She was born, February 16, 1939 in Bartow County, daughter of the late Joe J. Kinsey and Dorothy Eloise Jackson. Also, she was preceded in death by her husband, George Fite. She had lived most of her life in Gordon County, and was formerly employed at Mannington. She was a member of the Barrett Road Church of God. Jerrie is survived by one son, Henry Bill Metcalf of the Scottsville Community; two brothers, Robert and Daniel Kinsey of Calhoun; one sister, Martha Cloer of Adairsville, two granddaughters, Bethany Chumley and Amber Byers grandson, Allen Metcalf; great granddaughters, Emily Metcalf and Kimberly Byers; great grandsons, Ayden Chumley and Tristen Chumley. Memorial services will be conducted at 11:00 AM, Saturday, May 4 at the Barrett Road Church of God with the Reverend Norris Sexton officiating. Heather Utz will have charge of music. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 PM at the funeral home Friday. Thomas Funeral Home has charge of arrangements for the services of Jerrie Kinsey Fite.
