Jeffery "Jeff or Red" Shaw

Jeffery “Jeff or Red” Shaw, age 51 of Calhoun, passed away on Sunday, January 7, 2018 at his residence. Jeff was born on January 3, 1967 in Gordon County to Mary Pierce Moore and the late William Shaw. He was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church, and formerly worked at Bentley Dye. Jeff is survived by his mother and step-father, Mary Moore and Leslie Baldridge of Calhoun; his wife of 27 years, Linda Shaw of Calhoun; son, Nicholas Parker of Calhoun; daughter, Barbara Shaw of Calhoun; three brothers, Chris Baldridge of Calhoun, Ricky Baldridge of Calhoun, and Bankie Baldridge of Dalton; sister, Vickie Baldridge of Armuchee; and one granddaughter, Kensley Jamie Parker also survives. Funeral Services will be conducted on Tuesday, January 9th at 1 PM from the Chapel of Thomas Funeral Home with Reverend Roger Fisher officiating. Interment will follow in Fain Cemetery. Pallbearers serving will be James Hunter Pierce, Brandon Pierce, T.J. Maddox, Chris Baldridge, Robert Brehm, Rocky Leonard, Mel Maddox, and Eddie Casey. The family will receive friends on Tuesday prior to the funeral from 10 AM until the funeral hour at 1 PM at Thomas Funeral Home.
