Jeannette Gough (pronounced “golf”), age 77 of Calhoun, passed away on Thursday, September 21, 2017 in Redmond Regional Medical Center.
Jeannette was born on February 11, 1940 in Hancock County, KY to the late Howard Rapp and Bethel Flake Rapp. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Billy Rapp, and Paul Rapp. She was a member of St. Clements Catholic Church.
Jeannette is survived by her husband, John Benjamin “Benny” Gough; two sons, Mark Gough of Rome, and Dan Gough of Calhoun; three daughters, Karen Bono of Fort Myers, FL, Cindy Gough of Calhoun, and Sherry Hall of Alabama; two sisters, Betty Vaughan of Calhoun, and Sue Westbrook and her husband Herman of Calhoun; two sisters-in-law, Betty Rapp of Calhoun, and Jean Rapp of Evansville, IN; two grandsons, Nick Bono and Ryan Bono; and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be conducted on Monday, September 25th at 11 AM from the Chapel of Thomas Funeral Home with Father Feiser Munoz officiating. Burial will follow in Fain Cemetery.
Pallbearers serving are Nick Bono, Ryan Bono, Derrick Craig, Donnie McBurnett, Ray Rapp, and Jason Hobbs.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, September 24th from 4 PM until 8 PM at Thomas Funeral Home.
