Janie Ruth German

Mrs. Janie Ruth German, age 73 of Resaca died Wednesday, May 28 in Gordon Hospital. Janie was born in Fannin County, April 12, 1935 daughter of Ted Stanley and Georgia J. Stanley. Also, she was preceded in death by a son Jeffery German and a sister,Judy Silvers. Janie is survived by her husband of 50 years, Eugene German of Resaca; two sons,Teddy German of Ranger and Terry German of Resaca; two daughters Susan Sanford of Resaca and Tammy Stone of Resaca; 3 brothers, Roamie Stanley of Ellijay, David Stanley of Talking Rock, and Bobby Stanley/ of Ellijay; four sisters, Evelene Mullinax of Jasper, Peggy Davis of Morganton, Wilma Holguin of Jasper, and Dale Teems of Ellijay; 7 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 4:00 PM, Saturday, May 31 at the Miracle Temple Church with the Reverends Adrian Craig, Jack Sanford, and Bruce Price officiating. The family will receive friends after 2:00 PM, Friday at the church. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Pallbearers are Jody Lindenselser, Larry Long, Timmy Manis, Joey Mullinax, Randy Hughes, Jeff Watson, Joseph Holguin, and Phillip Wright. They are asked to meet at the church at 3:45 PM Saturday.
