Jane Patterson Chitwood

Saturday, April 10, 2010 Mrs. Jane Patterson Chitwood, age 71,of Dahlonega and formerly of Sugar Valley died at 3:15 PM, Friday April 9 in Embracing Hospice of Cumming, Georgia. Jane was born in Gordon County May 3, 1938, daughter of the late Charlie Patterson and Mildred Davis Patterson. Also, she was preceded in death by her husband Jerry L. Chitwood and a brother Bobby Patterson. She was a member of the Sugar Valley Baptist Church Survivors include her son, Randy Chitwood and his wife Holly of Dawsonville; one brother, Chris Patterson of Sugar Valley; four sisters; Charlotte Harris Beard and her husband Richard of Calhoun, Gail Bryson and her husband Kenneth, Joan Thomas and her husband Larry, and Nancy Taylor and her husband Ron all of Sugar Valley; a number of nieces and nephews also survive. Memorial services will be conducted Sunday April 11 at 2pm from the Sugar Valley Baptist Church. with the Reverend Mitch Phillips officiating. Burt Jeffords will have charge of music.
