James Earl Wright

Monday, September 21, 2009 Jimmy Earl Wright, age 64, of Cartersville and formerly of Calhoun died Monday morning September 21st in Cartersville Heights Health Care and Rehab Center. Jimmy was born in Bartow county August 22, 1945. Son of the late Thomas Jefferson Wright and Ruby Ruthelle Chastain Wofford. Jimmy was disabled all of his life and he attended the Union Grove Baptist Church. He was a member and former Chaplain of the Paul Gwin American Legion Post 47, and a member of the Local Country Music Club. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother; Clyde Richard Wofford. He is survived by one half-sister; Faye Houge of Jackson, Tn and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday September 23rd. from the Chapel of the Thomas Funeral Home with Rev. Gary Hibberts. Interment will follow in the Union Grove Cemetery.
