James Randy Whitener

James Randy Whitener, age 70, passed away Tuesday morning February 1^st at AdventHealth Gordon.

James was born September 8, 1951, in Bartow County, son of the late James David Whitener and Thelma Bennett Whitener. Prior to his retirement he worked as a security guard. James loved fishing and in earlier years was a musician who played and sang with his mother in the family quartet.

He is survived by his daughter, Lynn Harris; granddaughter, Erica Lynn Swindall; and two nephews, Jason Whitener and Johnny Whitener.

Private graveside services will be conducted at Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery.
