James W. Ward

Mr. James W. Ward, of Decatur, died Tuesday, June 23, 2009. He retired from Blue Cross Blue Shield of Georgia in 2001 after 28 years of services. Mr. Ward is survived by his wife of 42 years, Judy Jones Ward; son and daughter-in-law, James and Tracy Ward of Grayson; three grandchildren, Abigail, Mackenzie and Colby Ward all of Grayson; mother, Irene Ward of Calhoun; sister, Mary Curry of Hawkinsville; Glenda Goble of Calhoun;brothers, Jerry Ward and Larry Ward both of Calhoun. Funeral services will be conducted at 12:30 pm Friday June 26th from the chapel of A.S.Turner and Sons Funeral Home. With Rev. Tim Norton officiating. Interment will follow in the Chandler Cemetery at 4pm Friday. In lieu of flowers contribution mat be made in his memory to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 56566, Atlanta, Ga,30343. Family will receive friends at A.S. Turner Funeral Home from 5 until 9pm Thursday evening. A.S. Turner Funeral Home is in charge of the funeral services of James W. Ward
