James "Eddie" Turner

James “Eddie” Turner, age 68 of Calhoun, GA, passed away on Sunday, September 26, 2021 at Hospice of Chattanooga in Chattanooga, TN.

Eddie was born on October 16, 1952 in Cornelia, GA, son of the late Marvin Turner and Evelyn Gray Turner. In addition to his parents, Eddie was also preceded in death by his brother, Mike Turner. Eddie was a member of the Calhoun First United Methodist Church. He was a graduate of Calhoun High School Class of 1970 and after high school attended Georgia Tech where he earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Management. He then established Turner Heating & Air in 1977. Eddie was an avid Tech fan and loved spending his spare time on the golf course.

Eddie is survived by: his wife, Teresa “Gail” Turner; and one daughter, Lana Beth Turner and her husband Josh Rawlins.

A Celebration of the life of Eddie will be held at a later date.
