James A. "Jimmy" McEntyre

James A. “Jimmy” McEntyre, Jr., age 65 of Resaca, died Friday February 8th in Gordon Hospital. Jimmy was born May 27, 1947 in Gordon County, son of the late James A. McEntyre, Sr. and Dorothy L. Wofford McEntyre, prior to his retirement he was the operations manager for the City of Calhoun’s electrical department. Survivors include his wife, Evelyn Fowler McEntyre, one son, James M. McEntyre, one daughter, Melanie Teal, a sister, Diane Shaw, two grandchildren, Patricia McEntyre and Nicholas Teal all of Resaca. Graveside rites will be conducted Sunday February 10th at 2pm in Hall Memorial/Fairview Cemetery, with Rev. Kenny Rogers and Rev. Lamar Beason officiating.
