James William "Jimmy" Adams

James William “Jimmy” Adams, age 73, of Calhoun and formerly of Dalton, Gainesville, and Chamblee GA, passed away Tuesday, February 15, 2022 in Hamilton Medical Center.

Jimmy was born June 5, 1948 in Chatham County, GA, son of the late James “J.W.” and Jeanette Adams. He was a veteran of the United States Army and later the Reserves serving from 1970 until 1977. He spent 27 years working for AT&T and its sister companies.

Survivors include his son; Nikolaus Edwin Adams, daughter; Dawn Veronica Evans, and the mother of his children; Roxana Shindelbower Evans.

A celebration of Jimmy’s life will be conducted Saturday, February 19, 2022 at 2 PM from the Chapel of Thomas Funeral Home with Reverend Ed Archer officiating.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 19, 2022 from 1 PM until the service hour at 2 PM at Thomas Funeral Home.
