Jaen Elizabeth Canders-Caldwell

Jaen Elizabeth Canders-Caldwell, 56, of Calhoun, GA passed away at home after months of illness on September 18, 2023.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Dr. Helon Styles of Carroll County, GA, and her brother, Brian Stanford.

Jaen is survived by her husband, Mike Caldwell; father, David Bradberry; brother, Dennis Stanford and wife Terri; children, Dr. John Daniel (Dain) Huddleston, Jr. and wife Christina, Chandler DeJesus and husband Benji, Kade Canders, and Dossen Greigh Canders; step-children, Megan Caldwell, and Stefan Caldwell and wife Brylee; as well as many loving grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Jaen earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Georgia and a Master’s Degree of Education from the University of West Georgia and was an avid Dawgs fan. She was an active member of the Calhoun High School Marching band booster club serving as president and concession stand volunteer. Jaen mostly enjoyed her “home-time” being surrounded by her family and friends. She also loved working in the garden and growing flowers.

Our family would like to extend our sincere thanks and gratitude for all the care the staff of Homespun Hospice rendered during her last days at home.

Per Jaen’s request no funeral or memorial service will be held. A private family celebration of life will be held at a later date.
