Jack Bell

Jack H. Bell, age 84 of Ellijay and formerly of Calhoun died at 4:00 AM, Sunday, January 2 in Floyd Medical Center. Jack was born, May 28, 1926 in Aubrey, Texas, son of the late Henry Harper Bell and Bessie Lowery Bell. Also, he was preceded in death by one son, Randall Bell. Jack had lived many years in Calhoun before retiring to Ellijay in 1988. He had retired from the City of Calhoun with over 30 years service as Electrical Superintendent. He was a World War II veteran, US Navy. Jack is survived by one son, David of Plainville; one daughter, Teri Bell of Calhoun; and one sister, Lorraine Leonard of Griffin. Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 PM, Tuesday, January 4 at the Chapel of Thomas Funeral Home with the Reverend Kenny Rogers officiating. Burial will be in Fain Cemetery.
