Irene Bennicoff

Irene Bennicoff, age 87 of Hamburg, Pennsylvania, passed away on Thursday, September 19, 2013 at her daughter’s residence in Calhoun, GA. Irene was born on September 7, 1926 in Reading, Pennsylvania to the late Henry and Maize Loose. She was a member of the Hamburg Seventh Day Adventist Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles G. Bennicoff, Sr. and a son, Jack Bennicoff. Survivors include two sons, Charles “Sonny” Bennicoff, Jr. of Louisville, Kentucky, and Gary Bennicoff of Nazareth, Pennsylvania; one daughter, Diane Epperson and her husband Tim of Calhoun; seven grandchildren of which two are locals, Travis Epperson and his wife Heather, and Dustin Epperson; six great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren also survive. A memorial service will be conducted at a later date in Pennsylvania.
