Iona "Beck" Hollingsworth

Iona “Beck” Hollingsworth, age 85 of Calhoun, passed away on Tuesday, April 24, 2012 at her residence. Beck was born on August 21, 1926 in Chattooga County, GA. Daughter of the late Wilburn “Webb” A. Miller and Ruby Inez Brown Miller. Prior to retirement she was employed by Ingles Supermarket. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Rufus Hollingsworth in 1974. Survivors include; One daughter, Jane Holcomb Manning. One granddaughter, Julie Horton and her husband Randy. Two great-grandchildren; Ashley Horton and Chaz Horton. A special friend, Brianna Peardon all of Calhoun. Funeral Services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 26th from the Chapel of Thomas Funeral Home with Farrel Brown officiating. Burial will follow in Oaknoll Memorial Garden Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4 – 8p.m. on Wednesday, April 25th at the funeral home.
