Inez Long

Monday, April 23, 2007 Ms. Inez Harrelson Long, age 69 of 530 A. Switch Rd, Calhoun, Ga, died Sunday April 22nd. at her residence following an extended illness. Inez was born in Gordon county on August 8, 1937 daughter of the late James Arthur and Mae Angland Harrelson and had been a lifelong resident of Gordon County. She was a homemaker and had worked at Horizon and Mannington Mills in Calhoun. She was a member oaf the Evangelistic Outreach Ministry and in addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two grandsons; Kevin and Jason Long and a brother C.J. Harrelson. Survivors include three sons and daughters-in-law; Lamar and Pam Long and Douglas and Teresa Long all of Calhoun and David and Cindy Long of Cassville, Ga. , one daughter; Debbie Bramlett of Resaca, one brother and his wife; Harvey and Hilda Harrelson of Calhoun, three grandchildren; Jessica Taylor, Kim Long , and Joshua Bramlett and his wife Tina, one great-grandchild; Christopher Putnam. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Tuesday April 24th, from the Chapel of the Thomas Funeral Home with Rev. J.B. Kirby officiating. Interment will follow in the Blackwood Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. The Family will receive friends at the Thomas Funeral Home from 5:00 until 8:00 P.M. today (Monday).
