Hollis Eugene Patterson

Hollis Eugene Patterson, age 86 of Calhoun, passed away on Friday, July 22^nd at his residence surrounded by his loving family.

Hollis was born on May 24, 1936, in Gordon County to the late Horace Patterson and Geneva Thompson Patterson. He was a lifetime resident of Gordon County and the Oostanaula Community and was a devoted member of Oostanaula Baptist Church. Hollis was an avid Dairy Farmer. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a nephew, Gary Pasley.

He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Patricia Owens Patterson; sons, Russell Patterson, Randy Patterson and his wife Tracy; daughters, Regina Harrison and her husband Tom, Rachel McNeese and her husband Jeff; brother, Warren Patterson; sister, Imogene Patterson; nephew, Mitchell Pasley and his wife Linda; sister-in-law, Barbara Pasley; three grandchildren, Tray Patterson, Hunter McNeese, and Cody McNeese.

Funeral Services will be conducted on Monday, July 25^th at 11 AM from the Chapel of Thomas Funeral Home with Reverend Michael Hunt officiating. Burial will follow in Fain Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Monday, July 25^th from 9 AM until the funeral hour.
