Miss. Holli Rae Knight, age 47 of Calhoun, died Sunday January 3rd. following a sudden attack suffered at her residence. Holli was born in Gordon County on December 18, 1962 daughter of the late Seth Utah Knight and Charlotte Prater Knight who survives her. She was a member of the Meadowdale Baptist Church were she was very active with the children and youth and was a Church Nursery Worker and a Choir Member. She was Employed by Northwest Georgia Paving where she worked in the office. She is survived by her mother Charlotte Knight, a brother and his wife; David and Rhonda Knight of Calhoun, very special nephew; Brandon and his wife Jeni Knight of Calhoun, two great-nieces; Sulli and Jasper Knight, along with several cousins and friends. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday January 5th. from the Meadowdale Baptist Church with Dr. Steven Pearson officiating. Interment will follow in the Fain Cemetery with Dr. Gary Tate conducting the graveside services. The family will receive friends at the Thomas Funeral Home from 4:00 until 7:00 P.M. today Monday. Pallbearers serving include Van Taylor, Jerry Hufstetler, Brian Roberts, Ronald Pearson, Travis Stephens, Ronnie VanDyke, Doug Massingill and Brian Payton and these gentlemen are asked to meet at the funeral home at 1:30 P.M. Tuesday. The Meadowdale Church Choir will serve as honorary escort. Angie Childers will have charge of the Music.
