Hilda Lenora Wyrick

Hilda L. Wyrick, age 81 of Calhoun, passed away on Friday afternoon, August 16, 2013 at her residence. Hilda was born in Montrose, Mississippi on January 17, 1932 to John Willis Smith and Mary Thelma Fincher. She had formerly had a career as a merchandiser at Butler Shoes. She was married to Sanford Stanley Wyrick and they have lived in Calhoun for the past nine years, and are members of Bethesda Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, Sanford Stanley Wyrick of Calhoun; two daughters, Debra Kent and her husband Tom and her son, Christopher Carter and his wife Niki all of Marietta, and Teresa Andrews and her husband Dan of Somerset, KY and her children Brett and Lauren Houston of Pittsburg, PA and Eric Andrews of Somerset, KY. Nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral Services will be conducted on Monday, August 19th at 2:00pm from Bethesda Baptist Church with Reverend Wesley Hunt officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Pallbearers serving include Tom Kent, Dan Andrews, Chris Carter, Brett Houston, Eric Andrews, and Pete Jennings.
