Henry E. Holland, JR

Henry E. Holland, JR, age 78 of Calhoun, GA, passed away on Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at AdventHealth Gordon.

Henry was born on February 22, 1943 in Gordon County, GA, son of the late Henry E. Holland, SR and Lucille Owens Holland. In addition to his parents, Henry was also preceded in death by: his brother, Max Holland; and sister, Marquerite Rupenthal. Henry was a veteran of the United States Air Force. Henry was a lifetime resident of Gordon County and prior to his retirement was the President of AmSouth Bank. He was a member of the Calhoun First Baptist Church.

Henry is survived by: his wife, Sayre Cultra Holland; two sons, Jason E. Holland and his wife Carol, and Max E. Holland and his wife Hannah; three grandchildren, Mayce Holland, Blair Holland, and Sophia Holland; and a nephew, Robert Pittman and his wife Anita and their son, Evan.

A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, October 1, 2021 at 11 AM at Fain Cemetery with Dr. John Barber and Dr. Bert Vaughn officiating.
