Henry Horace Bigham

Henry Horace Bigham, age 91, of Calhoun. Died Monday morning June 13th in Gordon Hospital. Henry was born July 24, 1919 in Gordon County. Son of the late Grady Milton Bigham and Mamie Estelle Forest Bigham. He was a member of the Calhoun First Baptist Church and a former Gordon County Tax Assessor. Henry was a graduate of Belwood High School class of 1939 and had attended Reinhardt College. Survivors include his wife of 70 years, Annie Mae Brown Bigham of Calhoun. One daughter, DeAnne Bigham Offutt of Calhoun. One son, Richard Bigham and his wife Mary of Rome. Two brothers, Curtis Lamar Bigham of Marietta and Leroy Bigham of Conyers. Two grandchildren, Catherine Mecca Starnes and her husband Ricky of Calhoun, Brodie Lee Locklair and his wife Whitney of Abilene, Tx.. Two great grandchildren, Alyssa Marie Starnes and Autumn Nicole Starnes. Two step-grandchildren, Scott Taylor and his wife Melanie of Springboro, Ohio and Brad Taylor and his wife Chelle of Atlanta also survive. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday June 15th at 10am from the chapel of Thomas Funeral Home. With Rev. Gary Bowman officiating. Burial will follow in Blackwood Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers serving include, Dan Johnson, Charlie Brown, David Bigham, Jason Bigham, Mike Hernandez, Scott Taylor, Brodie Locklair, Ricky Starnes, and Mark Bigham. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 5 until 7pm.
