Helen Ruth Miller

Helen Ruth Miller, age 86, of Calhoun, passed away peacefully at her residence Friday evening February 19th. Helen was born November 13, 1929 in Gordon County, daughter of the late Elzie James Dixon and Vennice Davenport Dixon. She was a homemaker and member of the Bethesda Baptist Church. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Ralph E. Miller, a daughter, Donna Miller, great-granddaughter, Gracelyn Grimm and a brother, James Dixon. Survivors include two daughters; Barbara Garcia of Fernandina Beach, Florida and Diane Paul of Newbury Park, California, two brother; Joe Dixon and Eugene Dixon. Three grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-granddaughter also survives. Funeral services to celebrate the life of Helen Ruth Miller will be conducted Monday February 22nd at 12 noon from Bethesda Baptist Church with Rev. Wesley Hunt officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Kevin Allen, Payton Daniel, Tadd Cochran, Doug Bell, Dustin Massingill, and Troy Casey serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Monday February 22nd at Bethesda Baptist church from 11am until the funeral hour. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Bethesda Baptist Church @ P.O.
