Hazel Saylor Ball

Hazel Saylor Ball, age 95 of Chatsworth, GA, passed away on Sunday, November 13, 2022 at her residence.

 Hazel was born on January 27, 1927 in Harlan, KY, daughter of the late Millard Fillmore Saylor, Sr. and Dorothy Kelley Saylor. In addition to her parents, Hazel was also preceded in death by: her husband, Floyd Elliott Ball; one daughter, Ella Mae Ball; one son, Harold Ball; and nine siblings, Myrtle Sexton, Ellene Hall, Bobby Sue Peace, Edward Saylor, Rufus Saylor, Moran Saylor, Millard Saylor, Jr., Oscar Saylor, and J.D. Saylor.

Hazel is survived by: six children, Michael Ball (Pat) of Harlan, KY, Ronnie Ball (Joyce) of Letcher, KY, Wilma Seither of Goodhue, MN, Randy Ball of Harlan, KY, Sonja Phillips (Steve) of Chatsworth, GA, and Sondra Carroll of Chatsworth, GA; one sister, Inez Saylor; special friend, Sybil Forestor; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 16, 2022 from 5 PM until 7 PM at Thomas Funeral Home.

The family will also receive friends on Friday, November 18, 2022 from 11 AM until 1 PM at Bianchi Funeral Home at 119 Bridge Street, Evarts, KY 40828.

Funeral Services will be conducted on Friday, November 18, 2022 at 1 PM from the Chapel of Bianchi Funeral Home at 119 Bridge Street, Evarts, KY 40828 with Reverend Ronnie Biggs and Reverend Dennis Short officiating. Burial will follow in the Saylor family cemetery.

Pallbearers serving are: Randy Ball, Ronald Ball, Bradley Phillips, Marty Hall, Eddie Anderson and Michael Crandle. and are requested to meet at Bianchi Funeral Home in Evarts, KY by 12:30 PM on November 18, 2022.
