Harriett Craig Grady

Harriett Craig Grady, age 91 of Calhoun, passed away on Monday, July 6, 2020 at her residence. Harriett was born on August 7, 1928 in Macon, GA to the late Charles Carter Tompkins and Georgia Lou Tribble Tompkins. In addition to her parents, Harriett was also preceded in death by: her first husband, United States Air Force, (retired) Master Sargent James A. “Robert” Craig; second husband, Henry Fredrick Grady; sister, Louise T. Wilson Fogle; daughter-in-law, Debbye Craig; and grandson, Sean Craig. Harriett worked as a Registered Nurse. Harriett is survived by: two sons, Charles Craig and his wife, Becky of Roswell, GA and Andy Craig of Jackson, GA; daughter, Catherine Craig Hood of Calhoun; three grandchildren, Joshua Craig of Jackson, GA, Corwin Craig of Roswell, GA, and James W. Hood of Ranger, GA; and a special friend, Jackie Roberson. Funeral Services will be conducted on Friday, July 10th at 2 PM from the Chapel of Thomas Funeral Home with Reverend Stacy Hensley officiating. The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 9th from 5 PM until 7 PM at Thomas Funeral Home.
