Harold Edward King

Harold Edward King, age 85 of Calhoun, passed away on Wednesday, July 15th at his residence. Harold was born on September 16, 1929 in Detroit, MI. He was the son of the late Emmett and Mary King. He attended the Barrett Road Church of God and served in the United States Army. He was the owner-operator of King Glass Company of Calhoun for over 50 years. He is survived by his wife, Wynette Smith King of Calhoun; a daughter, Donna King; a sister, Maxine Mashburn; and two granddaughters, Hanna and Heather Pate. Funeral Services will be conducted on Saturday, July 18th at 2 PM from the Chapel of Thomas Funeral Home with Reverend Terry Timms and Reverend Norris Sexton officiating. Interment will follow in Fain Cemetery. Pallbearers serving include Ricky Mashburn, Jerry Mashburn, Larry Mashburn, Flipper McDaniel, Ricky Lee Smith and Tony Mulkey. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 12 until the funeral hour at 2 PM.
