Harlin Haulk

Sunday, June 21, 2009 Mr.Harlin Haulk age 77 formerly of Gordon County now residing in Corsisana, Texas , died Friday evening in Texas. Mr. Haulk was born in Polk County, Tn. on June 14, 1932 son of the late Harlin Haulk Sr. and Mattie Bishop Haulk and had been a resident of Gordon County for 18 years prior to moving to Texas. He was an electrician and a farmer.In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a grandchild Joshua Haulk. Survivors include two sons; Gary Haulk and Harlin Haulk III both of Calhoun, two daughters; Janet Cross of Dalton and Tammy Armstrong of Corsisana, Texas, 11 grandchildren; Melissa Cross, Micharl Cross, Jonah Cross, Adam Cross and Matthew Cross all of Dalton, Amanda Priest of Corsisana, Tx, Monica Bowls also of Corsisana, Tx, Jackie Prevette, Tiffany Haulk Croy, Nathan Haulk and Camille Haulk all of Calhoun, six great-grandchildren also survive. Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 P.M. Tuesday June 23rd. from the Chapel of the Thomas Funeral Home with Rev. Keith Reid officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Carmel Cemetery near Ranger, Ga. Pallbeaers serving include Timmy and Charles Whitfield, Nathanel Haulk, Drew Bowls, Michael and Jonah Cross. The family will receive friends at the Thomas Funeral Home from 2:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Monday June 22nd.
