Harlan Hall, age 76 of Calhoun, passed away on Tuesday, December 8, 2015 at Erlanger Health System of Chattanooga, TN.
Harlan was born on June 10, 1939 in Murray County, GA to the late Denver Hall and Nell Tinch Hall. He was a member of Salem Baptist Church. Harlan was employed by Astro Dye for over 46 years. He was a Calhoun High School graduate Class of 1958, and was an avid yellow jacket football fan of Calhoun High School and Georgia Tech. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Bobby Hall; and sister, Martha Hall.
He is survived by his brother, Doyle Hall and his wife Darlene; two sisters, Ann Brown and her husband Raymond, and Lynn Childers and her husband Herman; nieces, Michele Brown Silvers and Candi Brown Alexander; nephews, Ricky Hall, Tim Hall, Jeff Hall, Scott Hall, Ben Fuller and Blake Childers; several aunts, uncles, great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins also survive.
Funeral Services will be conducted on Friday, December 11th at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of Thomas Funeral Home with Reverend Tony Hall officiating. Kenny Herron will have charge of music. Interment will follow in Gordon Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers serving will be Lamar Tinch, Blake Childers, Ben Fuller, Ricky Hall, Tim Hall, Ricky Silvers, Scott Hall and David Alexander. Honorary Pallbearers will be former co-workers of Astro Dye.
The family will receive friends on Thursday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at Thomas Funeral Home.
