Glynn Baxter Bunch, age 81 of Calhoun, passed away on Monday, February 22, 2016 at Emory University Hospital at Midtown.
Glynn was born on April 20, 1934 in Washington, GA to the late Reginald Bunch and Lena Marie Walker Bunch. He was a member of Heritage Baptist Church, and prior to his retirement was Senior Technical Advisor of BASF. Glynn was an avid golfer, and very compassionate to others and their needs. He loved to sing and play instruments with his daughter Patti. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Jeanette Cook and Reggie Dean Small.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Pike Bunch of Calhoun; daughter, Patti Bunch Pass of Calhoun; brother, Philip Bunch of Jackson, GA; grandson, Danyl Pass; two great grandchildren, Savannah Pass and Cooper Pass; many nieces and nephews also survive; special friends, Jerry and Kay Robbins of Calhoun, Hughey and Louise McCoy of Milledgeville, GA and many other dear friends.
Funeral Services will be conducted on Thursday, February 25th at 2 PM from the Chapel of Thomas Funeral Home with Reverend Brent Davis officiating. Interment will follow in Gordon Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers serving will be Adam Pruett, Chris Atkinson, Randy Thomas, Joe Hodges, Bobby Cook, Randy Cook and Ray Berryhill.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening, February 24th from 5 until 8 PM at Thomas Funeral Home.
