Glenn E. Radcliff

Wednesday, January 16, 2008 Mr. Glenn E. Radcliff, age 74 of Hall Memorial Road, Resaca, Ga. died today Wednesday January 16th. at Calhoun Health Care following an extended illness. Glenn was born in Bucyrus, Ohio on August 30, 1933 son of the late Roy S. and Elizabeth Hipple Radcliff and had lived in the Calhoun area for the past 30 years. He was a machine operator in the textile industry having worked at Ga. Tufters and Springs Industries. He was a veteran serving with the U.S. Army. Survivors include his wife Gertrude Silvers Radcliff of Resaca, two step-sons; Steve Allen Silvers of Ball Ground, Ga. and Ernie Keener of Resaca.,two sisters-in-law; Celestia Cox of Calhoun and Tillie Radcliff of Bucyrus, Ohio. Four grandsons and two granddaughters , one great-grandson along with a number of nieces and nepews also survive. Graveside and interement services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Friday January 18th from the Chandler Cemetery with Rev. Billy Barton officiating. *** If bad weather services will be held in the Thomas Funeral Home chapel***.
