Glenda Sue Bagley

Glenda Sue Bagley, age 67 of Calhoun, passed away on Tuesday, September 20^th at AdventHealth Gordon surrounded by her loving family.

Glenda was born on December 5, 1954, in Gordon County to the late Clifford Lowe and Dimple Lowe. She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church. Prior to retirement she was employed by Springs Industries. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a brother, Cecil Lowe, a brother Tommy Austin, and sister Cathy Franklin.

She is survived by her husband, Billy Bagley; children, Michael Bagley, Terry Godfrey, Christina Miller, and April Bagley; grandchildren, Clifford Bagley, Johnathan Bagley, Callie Nix, Mariya Correa, Anthony Miller, and Braxton Goforth; great-grandchildren, Maurice Nix, and Nuriyah Jones; siblings, Buddy Lowe, Tammi “Fredia” Hobbs, Bobby New, and Michael Joe Pierce; a special friend for over 30 years, Mary Knox also survives and so does friend Yohlacea M. Shropshire.

Funeral service will be conducted on Friday, September 23^rd at 11 AM from the Chapel of Thomas Funeral Home with Reverend Earnest Channell officiating. Burial will follow in Hope Well Cemetery. Pallbearers serving are: Tony Blaylock, William Baker, and Jerry Wilson.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 22^nd at Thomas Funeral Home from 5 PM until 8 PM.
