Geneva “G.G.” Clark Rogers, age 83 of Cartersville, passed away on Monday, February 2, 2015 at her residence.
Geneva was born on May 22, 1931 in Gordon County to the late Carl Clark, Sr. and Edna Bagwell Clark. She was also preceded in death by her husband, James Henry Rogers; brother, C.B. Clark, Jr.; and grandson, Jon Butterworth. Geneva was a resident of Cobb County from 1951 until 1998 when she then moved to Cartersville where she has been a resident since. She was an executive secretary for Lockheed for over 42 years.
She is survived by her son, James “Mike” Rogers and his wife Joan of Marietta; daughter, Sherry Butterworth and her husband Norman of Marietta; brother, Starr Clark and his wife Kitty of Crossville, TN; three grandchildren, Scott Rogers, Michelle Wolfson and Tammy Hayworth; eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter also survive.
Graveside Services will be conducted on Saturday, February 7th at 2:00 PM at Chandler Cemetery.
