Gary Mitchell Bagwell

Friday, February 08, 2008 Mr. Gary M. Bagwell, age 53, of the Ranger Community. Died Friday morning February 8th at his residence following several months of declining health. Gary was born in Gordon County November 26, 1954. Son of the late Gilbert and Doris Howington Bagwell. He was of the Baptist faith and was employed by Colormaster prior to his illness. He was preceded in death by his brother Ronald Bagwell. Survivors include his wife Linda P. Bagwell of Ranger. Two sons, Shane Bagwell of Inman, S.C. and David Deaton of Ranger. Two daughters, Angela Hunter and Brandy Bagwell both of Calhoun. One sister, Joyce Parker of Resaca. Eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren also survive. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday February 9th at 3pm from the chapel of Thomas Funeral Home. With Rev. Marvin Jackson and Charlie Payne officiating. Burial will follow in Hopewell Cemetery. Pallbearers serving include, Jeremy Kephart, Michael L. Hunter, Norman Carpenter, Tommy Hightower, Laron Blackmon, and Brandon Goodnight.
