Frank Risley

Frank "Riz" Risley, age 69 of Fairmount, passed away Wednesday, October 12, 2011 at his residence. Frank was born August 10, 1942 in North Brookfield, NY. Son of the late Van Ness and Eleene Cross Risley. He was a member of the Fairmount First Baptist Church and served in the United States Army. Survivors include; two daughters; Vicki and her husband John Cuthriell of Fairmount, and Jeannie and her husband Shannon Boling of Calhoun. One brother, Kenneth Wright of Jasper. Three sisters; Sarah Rzepka of WI, Nellie Eakin of Fairmount, and Joan Mazza of AZ. Three grandchildren; Kristen Cuthriell, J.T. Cuthriell, and Conner Boling also survive. Funeral Services will be conducted at 10:00a.m. Monday, October 17th from the Chapel of Thomas Funeral Home with the Chaplin Cathy Meyers officiating. Burial will follow in the Georgia National Cemetery with military rites . Nephews will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends from 4:00 - 8:00p.m. Sunday, October 16th at Thomas Funeral Home. The family request that in lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
