Frank M. Durham,

Frank M. Durham, Jr., age 72 of Calhoun passed away Tuesday morning November 20th in Gordon Health Care. Frank was born April 15, 1940 in Gordon County, son of the late Frank M. Durham, Sr. and Bessie Harmon Durham. After graduating from Calhoun High School in 1959, Frank earned degrees from Shorter College in Rome and the Baptist Theological Seminary in New Orleans. He was a retired minister and member of the Calhoun First Baptist Church. He is survived by his special friend, Jan Wise of Calhoun as well as cousins, Harry Wise, Carol Wingeier, Margaret Hillhouse, Lamar Squires, Reavis Harmon and Renva Harmon. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday November 24th at 1pm from the chapel of Thomas Funeral Home with Dr. John Allen officiating. Burial will follow in Fain Cemetery. Pallbearers serving include, Jamie Rickett, Neal Barwick, Harry Wise, Russell Wise, John Lord, and Chris Murphy. Dr. Doug Wingeier and Dr. Walter Brown will serve as Honorary Pallbearers. The family will receive friends Saturday morning from 11am until 1pm prior to the funeral.
