Frank E. Byerley, age 83, of Plainville, passed away Saturday evening in Redmond Regional Hospital. Frank was born September 21, 1931 in Washington County, Tennessee, son of the late C.K. Byerley Sr. and Beth Henly Byerley. He was of the Methodist faith and was a life member of the Calhoun Elks Lodge #1883. Frank was also a member of the Plainville Masonic Lodge #364 F&AM, the Echota Vann Shrine Club as well as other Masonic bodies. Prior to his retirement he was employed in electrical and plumbing sales. Survivors include his wife of 64 years Betty Floyd Byerley, one son Terrelle Byerley and his wife Pamela all of Plainville, two grandchildren, Kelly Bramblett of Adairsville and Jenny Gravitt and her husband Wade of Plainville, two great-grandchildren, Addysen Bramblett and Ryder Gravitt, one brother, Leon Byerley and his wife Tracy of Birmingham, Alabama, and one sister, Jeanette Hill and her husband Taft of Johnson City, Tennessee. Special friends and caregivers Robin Nicholson and Melba Lynn Nicholson also survive. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday August 11th at 2pm from the Plainville Independent Methodist Church with Rev. Bobby Stephens officiating. Burial will follow in the Franklin Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday afternoon from 5 until 8pm at the funeral home. Mr. Byerley will be taken to the church Tuesday afternoon from 1 until 2pm to lie instate.
