Frances Ferguson Campbell, age 81, of Calhoun, passed away Saturday morning March 15th in LaFayette.
Frances was born February 20, 1933 in Gordon County, daughter of the late Earl Ferguson and Grace Goode Ferguson, she was a member of the Blackwood Springs Baptist Church and was a retired teacher with Child Care Center.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Leon Campbell and a sister, Betty Holbrook.
Survivors include her son, Billy Campbell and his wife Jill of Ringgold and her daughter, Charaman Blankenship and her husband Harvey of DeFuniak Springs, Florida. Five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren also survive.
Funeral services will be conducted Monday March 17th at 11am from the Blackwood Springs Baptist Church with Rev. Bob Sampley officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Music will be arranged by Linda Mashburn, Faye Prather and Ronnie Hammontree.
Larry Curtis and the Deacons of Blackwood Springs Baptist Church will serve as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday from 2 until 5pm.
