Fidencio Farias Vargas

Fidencio Farias Vargas, Sr., age 48 of Calhoun, passed away on Sunday, March 9, 2014 in Redmond Regional Medical Center. Fidencio was born on June 11, 1965 in Jalisco, Mexico to Elidia Vargas and the late Santiago Farias. He was a member of the St. Clements Catholic Church and was employed by Landscape Creations. He is survived by his wife, Maria Farias Diaz of Calhoun; his mother, Elidia Vargas of California; three sons, Fidencio Farias Diaz, Jr., Jairo Farias Diaz, and Dario Farias Diaz; two daughters, Gladys Farias Diaz and her husband Cristian Chavez , and Genesis Farias Diaz all of Calhoun; four brothers, Audomaro Farias Vargas of IL, Santiago Farias Vargas, Enrique Farias Vargas, and Rafael Farias Vargas all of California; two sisters, Cleotilde Solano Farias, and Maria Tejeda Farias both of California; a number of nieces and nephews also survive. A Funeral Mass will be conducted on Thursday, March 13th at 1:00 pm from the St. Clements Catholic Church with Father Joseph Shaute officiating. Burial will follow in Fain Cemetery. Pallbearers serving include Fidencio Farias, Jr., Jairo Farias, Dario Farias, Cristian Chavez, Audomaro Farias, Jr., and Abel Farias. The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening from 2:00pm until 9:00pm at the funeral home.
