Evelyn Lillian Mason

Evelyn Lillian Mason, age 95 of Oakman, passed away on Friday, May 23rd in Gordon Hospital. Evelyn was born on October 15, 1918 in Brooklyn, NY to the late Seymour Toole, Sr. and Hortense Heite Toole. She was a member of Faith United Methodist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Joseph Mason. She is survived by her daughter, Roberta Renker Lanford of Oakman; three grandchildren, Thomas Calvin Lanford, Jr. of Lawrenceville, GA, William “Willie” Wesley Lanford, Sr. of Eagle River, WI, and Gerald “Jerry” Mason of St. Augustine, FL; and four great-grandchildren, William Wesley Lanford, Jr., Daniel Lanford, Mason Lanford, and Abigal Lanford. Funeral Services will be conducted on Sunday, May 25th at 2:00pm from the Chapel of Thomas Funeral Home with the Reverend Tom Lanford and Reverend Tom Martin officiating. Burial will take place in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens on Tuesday. The family will receive friends on Sunday an hour prior to the funeral.
