Evelyn Mary Griffiths

Mrs. Evelyn Mary Griffiths, age 91, of Calhoun. Died Saturday evening May7th in Gordon Health Care. Evelyn was born January 17, 1920 in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Daughter of the late William and Bessie Cutler Cunningham. She had lived in Calhoun since 1982 and was of the Episcopalian faith. Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband, James J. Griffiths and a brother, Earl Cunningham. Survivors include her daughter, Pamela M. Deuss of Northford, Connecticut. Two sons; William A. Griffiths and his wife Suk of Buford, Georgia and Robert A. Griffiths of Connecticut. One brother, William Cunningham of New Haven, Connecticut. Two sisters; Elizabeth Haar of West Haven, Connecticut and Laura Jouard of Montclair, NJ.. Two grandsons; Kevin and Michael Griffiths. Funeral services will be conducted Friday May 13th at 11am from the chapel of Thomas Funeral Home. With Father Louis Tonsmeire officiating. Burial will follow in Chandler Cemetery.
