Friday, June 05, 2009 Mrs. Evelyn Elaine Christensen age 82 of Guess Rd., Ranger, Ga. died Thursday June 4th. at her residence following an extended illness. Evelyn was born in BelleFouche, S.D, daughter of the late Andrew Gerald Cathey and Ursula Bielage who survives her. She was a homemaker and in addition to her father she was preceded in death by her husband; Leon Oswald “Ozzie” Christensen in 2008, a brother; Alvin Cathey, and a sister; Shirley Slater. Survivors are her mother Ursula Lanning , of BelleFoude S.D., a daughter; Diane Guess and her husband Max of Ranger, a son; Lonnie Dillard of Phoenix, Arizona, brothers; Gary Cathey of Billings , S.D, Jerry Cathey of Hammondl, Montana, Allen Cathey and Kenny Cathey both of Bozeman, Montana, a half brother; Danny Lanning of Hammond Montana, sisters; Jean Hough of Brodadus, Montana, Reaith Wise of Pall Pinto, Texas, Bonnie Burley of Broadus, Montana and a half sister; Sherry Zimmerman of Broadus, Montana. Memorial services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Saturday June 6th. from the Chapel of the Thomas Funeral Home with her daughter Dianne Guess giving the eulogy. The family will receive friends from 12Noon until 1:00 P.M. on Saturday. In Lieu Of Flowers the family requests donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
