Evelyn Allene

Friday, March 19, 2010 Evelyn Allene Lee, age 81, of Calhoun. Died Thursday March 18th at her home following an extended illnesss. Evelyn was born November 14, 1928 in Cleveland, Tennessee. Daughter of the late Clarence and Lena Ann Swafford Lee. She is survived by three daughters; Debbie Jolley Harris and her husband Greg of Resaca, Angie Gillman and her husband Arnold of Calhoun, and Tammy LeonGomaz and her husband Mark of Orlando. Three sons; Terry White of Nevada, Randy White and his wife Lori of Calhoun, and Ricky White and his wife Kim of Newnan. One brother, Glenn Lee of Hixson, Tn.. Fifteen grandchildren and nine great grandchildren also survive. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday March 21st at 1pm from the Chapel of Thomas Funeral Home. With Rev. Barry Lee officiating. Burial will follow in Chandler Cemetery. Pallbearers serving include; Brandon White, Gary Goins, Michael Bingiel, Ronnie Nelson, Patrick Nelson, and Tony Nelson. Honorary Escorts will include, Ricky Nelson, as well as employees of Gordon County 911, Gordon County EMS, and the Calhoun Police Department. The family will receive friends Saturday evening from 5 until 9pm.
