MRS. ETHEL MAE JOHNSON MILLER AGE 66, OF 331 CASH RD. SE., CALHOUN, DIED JULY 3RD. IN GORDON HOSPITAL FOLLOWING A BRIEF ILLNESS. MRS. MILLER WAS BORN IN BEREA KENTUCKY ON APRIL 1, 1940 DAUGHTER OF THE LATE SCOTT JOHNSON AND MARY SMITH JOHNSON. SHE IS A MEMBER OF THE HOUSE OF PRAYER CHURCH , THE TOPS CLUB, AND WAS EMPLOYED AS A “CNA” AT GORDON HEALTH CARE FOR THE PAST 7 YEARS. IN ADDITION TO HER PARENTS SHE WAS PRECEDED IN DEATH BY HER HUSBAND; SHADE MILLER SR. AND A SISTER JUANITA GILBERT IN 2001. SURVIVORS INCLUDE A DAUGHTER AND SON-IN-LAW: DEPHIA AND BRANDEN NEITZEL OF CALHOUN, A SON AND DAUGHTER-IN-LAW: SHADE AND GAIL MILLER OF RESACA, ONE BROTHER CLINTON JOHNSON OF TAMPA, FLORIDA AND FOUR GRANDCHILDREN: SHADE MOORE, JEREMIAH MOORE, ISAAC MILLER AND TIMOTHY KENT ALONG WITH A NUMBER OF NIECES AND NEPHEWS. FUNERAL SERVICES WILL BE CONDUCTED AT 12 NOON ON THURSDAY JULY 6TH. FROM THE CHAPEL OF THE THOMAS FUNERAL HOME WITH REV. SHADE MILLER AND REV. STEVE PARKS OFFICIATING. INTERMENT WILL FOLLOW IN THE MT. PLEASANT METHODIST CEMETERY WITH DAVID STOKES CONDUCTING THE GRAVESIDE. PALLBEARERS SERVING INCLUDE GRANDSONS: SHADE AND JEREMIAH MOORE, ISAAC MILLER AND TIMOTHY KENT ALONG WITH FRANKIE BLANTON SR. AND FRANKIE BLANTON JR. AND THESE GENTLEMEN ARE ASKED TO MEET AT THE HOUSE OF PRAYER AT 10:45 A.M. THURSDAY JULY 6TH. ON THURSDAY THE BODY WILL LIE INSTATE AT THE CHURCH FROM 11:00 A.M. UNTIL THE FUNERAL HOUR. THE FAMILY WILL RECEIVE FRIENDS AT THE THOMAS FUNERAL HOME AFTER 2:00 P.M. ON WEDNESDAY JULY 5TH. THOMAS FUNERAL HOME HAS CHARGE OF THE ARRANGEMENTS FOR MRS. ETHEL MAE JOHNSON MILLER.
