Ethel Chapman Greeson

Ethel Chapman Greeson, age 98 of Calhoun, GA, passed away on Tuesday, May 10, 2022 at Pruitt Health – Shepherd Hills Health Nursing Home in Rome, GA.

Ethel was born on June 1, 1923 in Walker County, GA, daughter of the late Mart Van Chapman and Essie Lee Chapman. In addition to her parents, Ethel was also preceded in death by: her husband, James Clayton Greeson; son, Edward Greeson; and nine siblings. Ethel was a resident of Gordon County, GA for the past 75 years and was a member of Amazing Grace Church. Prior to her retirement Ethel worked for Horizon Industries.

Ethel is survived by: her daughter, Darlene Jackson; granddaughter, Virginia Cara Fisher; two great-grandchildren, L.A. Chance Bailey and Destiny Nicole Bailey; and five great-great-grandchildren, Brailyn Daniel, Perseus Bailey, Evelynn Bailey, S.J. Spigner, and Theo Bailey.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
