Elsie Ann Scott

Elsie Ann Scott, age 74, passed away on Sunday, June 4^th at her residence.

Elsie was born on April 18, 1949, in Jackson County, Tennessee to the late Zelma Lou Stafford Edmonds. In addition to her mother, Elsie was also preceded in death by: her step-father, Elmer Edmonds; and brother, Charles Edmonds. She was married on April 22, 1967, to the love of her life Billy Ray Scott. She cherished her grandchildren and great grand-children and she was a devoted wife and mother. In her spare time, Elsie enjoyed her girls' trips with her "sister cousins," her casino trips, her flowers and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her husband, Billy Ray Scott; children, Charles Scott and his wife Jennifer, Charlotte McDaniel and her husband Jon-Paul, and Billy Ray Scott Jr. and his wife Jessica; her brother, Johnny Edmonds and his wife Christie; eleven Grandchildren, Tara, Jessica, Danielle, Tyler, John, Brian, Zachary, Peyton, Billy III, Grace,  and Nash; and three great-grandchildren, Clara, Celia, and one on the way.

Services to celebrate the life of Elsie Ann Scott will be conducted Thursday, June 8^th, at 3:00 PM from the Chapel of Thomas Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 8^th, from 1:00 to 3:00 PM at Thomas Funeral Home.
