Ellis Medlin

Ellis Medlin, age 55 of Calhoun, passed away on Monday, November 21, 2016 in Gordon Hospital. Ellis was born on March 7, 1961 in Gordon County, son of the late Max Medlin and Peggy Reeves Medlin. He was also preceded in death by his first wife, Shelia Medlin; his sister, Debbie Hall; and a nephew, Kevin Long. He is survived by his wife, Janet Medlin of Calhoun; two daughters, April Medlin of Louisiana, Leann Ingle and her husband, Jeff of Calhoun; three brothers, Donnie Medlin and his wife Jonie of Adairsville, Tommy Medlin and his wife Shevelle, and Ronnie Medlin and Melanie of Calhoun; sisters, Laura Mae Dixon and her husband, Rodney, Pam Long and her husband Lamar of Calhoun; and four grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM, Friday, November 25th at the Chapel of Thomas Funeral Home with the Reverend Lamar Long officiating.
